Looking For an Associate Attorney

Family Law Firm Seeking a Full-Time Associate

Are you a rock star attorney with litigation experience? Do you want to work at a firm where your work really matters? This is not the typical small law firm! Our entrepreneurial law firm is small enough that everyone is a critical part of the team, yet big enough to offer the security and flexibility you want. Work where you know the Owner, have daily interaction with our clients, and help us grow the firm by helping empower families to navigate difficult changes and create new beginnings.

You must have at least 3 years of litigation experience with exceptional writing and analytical skills. To be a key player on our team, you must be dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.

This position will include:

  • Meeting with the clients to understand their goals and serve as the principal contact between the Firm and its clients.
  • Communicating to ensure the client is kept updated on the progress of their matter
  • Setting case strategy, legal strategy and performing tasks needed to drive the case to milestones and timely resolution
  • Appearing on behalf of and advocating for clients during deposition, mediation, meetings, hearings
  • Approving and filing final court documents under signature.

Other requirements include the following:

  • Conveys confidence in person and on the phone
  • Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time
  • Treats a call at 4:30 on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Legal Research
  • A go-getter with a strong work ethic

We strive to help our staff achieve their professional goals while also expecting the expertise necessary to hit the ground running. We need an associate who is confident with people and in the courtroom. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal handholding.
